2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use MingYun:
- Account information: email address when you sign up
- Birth data: date, time, and location of birth that you voluntarily provide for readings
- Payment information: processed securely by Lemon Squeezy — we never see or store your card details
- Usage data: readings generated, credits used, wallpapers created
- Technical data: browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Generate your BaZi destiny readings and Personal Feng Shui Talismans
- Manage your account and credit balance
- Process payments and fulfil purchases via Lemon Squeezy
- Send transactional emails (signup confirmation, password reset) via Resend
- Improve our AI models and service quality
- Respond to your support inquiries
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL database with row-level security). Birth data and readings are stored so you can access your history. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.
AI analysis is processed via the Anthropic Claude API. Your birth data is sent to Anthropic to generate readings but is not stored by Anthropic beyond the API request.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted third parties:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Lemon Squeezy — payment processing (they are the merchant of record)
- Anthropic — AI analysis (Claude API)
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — website hosting
- Nano Banana / n8n — talisman image generation
- Cloudflare R2 — talisman image storage
6. Cookies
We use minimal cookies — primarily for authentication (keeping you logged in via Supabase session tokens) and localStorage for your preferences (language, font size). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your readings data

8. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law (e.g. payment records retained for 7 years for tax compliance).
9. Children's Privacy
MingYun is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of MingYun after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MingYun 命運 at mingyun.codes, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
MingYun provides AI-powered BaZi (八字) Chinese astrology readings and Personal Feng Shui Talismans based on birth data you provide. The service is provided on a credit-based system — you purchase credits and spend them to generate readings and talismans.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You may not share your account with others
- One account per person — multiple accounts are not permitted
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
4. Credits & Payments
- Credits are purchased in packs (Starter, Value, Cosmic) via Lemon Squeezy
- Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except as required by applicable law
- Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active
- 3 free credits are granted upon account creation
- Prices are in USD and are subject to change with notice
- Payment processing is handled by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the merchant of record
5. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of our service, all purchases are final and non-refundable. If you experience a technical error that results in credits being deducted without a reading or talisman being generated, contact us at contactus@mingyun.codes and we will investigate and restore credits if appropriate.
6. Disclaimer — Entertainment Purposes
MingYun makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any reading for any particular purpose. Results are generated by AI and based on traditional Chinese metaphysical frameworks — individual results will vary.
7. Intellectual Property
- The MingYun platform, branding, and underlying technology are owned by us
- Readings and talismans generated for your account are for your personal use only
- You may share your readings on social media for personal use
- You may not reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit our content or outputs
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform
- Create fake accounts to obtain free credits
- Use automated tools to access the service
- Harass or harm other users
- Resell credits or readings commercially
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MingYun and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Malaysia.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

1. All Sales Are Final
Due to the digital and immediately consumable nature of MingYun credits, all purchases are non-refundable once completed. This applies to all credit packs — Starter, Value, and Cosmic.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to a refund except as explicitly stated in this policy or as required by applicable law.
2. Technical Errors
If you experience a verified technical error that results in:
- Credits being deducted but no reading or talisman being generated
- Payment being processed but credits not being added to your account
- Duplicate charges for the same transaction
Please contact us at contactus@mingyun.codes within 7 days of the incident. We will investigate and, if the error is confirmed on our end, restore the affected credits or issue a refund at our discretion.
3. Unused Credits
Unused credits are non-refundable. Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active, so you may use them at any time.
4. Account Termination
If your account is terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service, you forfeit any remaining credits and are not entitled to a refund.
If you choose to delete your own account, any remaining credits will be permanently lost and are non-refundable.
5. Chargebacks
Initiating an unjustified chargeback with your card issuer or payment provider will result in immediate account suspension and may result in a permanent ban from MingYun. Please contact us first — we are happy to resolve any legitimate concerns.
6. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under local law, please contact us and we will assess your request accordingly.
